Technical workgroups
The cluster strategy committees have determined the following focus areas :
The Micro- and Nano-technologies workgroup
- Micro- and nano-electronic hardware technologies
- Physical design (CAD) tools and libraries
- Packaging techniques, including "in-package system" and "package-on-package"
- Solid-state electronic components
EmSoC workgroup
- Modeling, simulation, and validation tools and methods
- Software implementation tools and methods for on-chip multiprocessor platforms
- Software infrastructure for embedded systems
- The technical building blocks for specific embedded applications
- Multiprocessor platforms (MP-SoC)
Minalogic also supports transversal focus areas with the following objectives :
- To support product- and market-driven industrial projects based on the technological advances produced by the clusters
- To support structural projects that aim to promote and develop common resources for all cluster partners
