The cluster strategy committees have determined the following focus areas:

- Micro-Nano workgroup
(micro- and nano-technologies)

  • Micro- and nano-electronic hardware technologies
  • Physical design (CAD) tools and libraries
  • Packaging techniques, including "in-package system" and "package-on-package"
  • Solid-state electronic components

- EmSoC workgroup
(Embedded System on Chip)

  • Modeling, simulation, and validation tools and methods
  • Software implementation tools and methods for on-chip multiprocessor platforms
  • Software infrastructure for embedded systems
  • The technical building blocks for specific embedded applications
  • Multiprocessor platforms (MP-SoC)

 

Minalogic also supports transversal focus areas with the following objectives:

  • To support product- and market-driven industrial projects based on the technological advances produced by the clusters
  • To support structural projects that aim to promote and develop common resources for all cluster partners
